The Gillian Literary & Arts Journal, (initially Tipping the Scales) was created during the UK's first lockdown in 2020 by the multi-award-winning writer of stage, screen, fiction and poetry, Elinora Westfall. Since then we have grown substantially and become a safe, nurturing, and loving space for the writers and artists of the LGBT+ community.

We accept fiction, poetry, art, and photography from all LGBT+ and non-binary folk.

 

We publish four editions per year in print and e-book format in Spring, Pride (Summer), Autumn and Winter (Christmas).  Take a look at our previous publications here.
